PAM Jaya Expands Clean Water Access with Additional Supply from JatiluhurTeguh assessed that this FGD is important to ensure that the use of piped clean water services at Regional General Hospital (RSUD) and Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in Jakarta runs smoothly.
"Hopefully there will be concrete action to this FGD. PAM Jaya can map the need for piped water in health facilities owned by Jakarta Provincial Government. So please the RSUD and Puskesmas ranks convey the need for clean water," Teguh added.
Teguh appreciated the PAM Jaya Role in serving clean water needs of Jakarta residents. As for the welfare of residents, Teguh hopes the target of 100 percent coverage of pipe network services can be achieved.
Moreover, Teguh appealed to all buildings owned by Jakarta Provincial Government to use piped water to slow down the decline in groundwater levels. It has been regulated on Governor Regulation No 93/2021 that requires buildings to use piped water networks if they are located in a Groundwater Free Zone.
Meanwhile, PAM Jaya President Director Arief Nasrudin reported that his side is currently working on various movements and innovations to accelerate the piping network in every regional public hospital and health center in Jakarta. He hopes that the need for clean water in health facilities owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government is guaranteed and evenly distributed.
"Based on our study, we only need connect existing pipes to accelerate the supply of drinkable clean water to every health facility in Jakarta. It means no additional costs are needed. It will facilitate all needs that require clean water in the health facility if every room in RSUD and Puskesmas already has drinkable clean water and a water purifier," he stated.
